Fiona's Remedy Salve
Bumblefoot is a common foot infection in chickens caused by small cuts or pressure sores that let bacteria enter. Fiona’s Remedy Salve can be used safely through every stage of care — from swelling to full healing.
Step-by-Step Treatment
1. Soak the Foot:
Place the affected foot in warm Epsom salt water & iodine (diluted to a very light tea color or Chlorhexidine Solution (2-4mL/quart of water) for 10–15 minutes to soften tissue, reduce swelling, and draw out infection.2. Clean and Dry:
Rinse, gently pat dry, and remove any debris or scab if necessary.3. Apply Fiona’s Remedy:
Massage a small amount onto the sore or wound. The natural antibacterial and antifungal ingredients help fight infection while soothing inflammation.4. Wrap or Leave Uncovered:

Wrap with a non-stick pad and vet wrap if the wound is open.

Leave unwrapped if it’s mostly healed and dry.
5. Repeat Daily:
